Emergency First Aid, CPR & AED (Level C) F1

Basic Level

Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training for the workplace or home. Level-C F1 covers training for assisting adults, children and babies in emergencies.

Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Cost and Duration 

  • Certification: 7.5 hours in class learning ($90/person) 
  • Recertification: 5 hours in class learning ($70/person)

Completion Requirements

A Canadian Red Cross 3-year certification in (BASIC) Emergency First Aid and CPR level-C will be issued in the form of a digital certificate once the following requirements are met:

  • Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps
  • Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation
  • Attend and participate in 100% of the Course

Standard First Aid, CPR & AED (Level C) F2

Intermediate Level

Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training for those who need certification due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Level-C covers training for assisting adults, children and babies in emergencies.

Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Cost and Duration

  • Certification: 14 hours (2 days) in class learning ($140/person) 
  • Recertification: 7.5 hours (1day) in class learning ($100/person)

Completion Requirements

A Canadian Red Cross 3-year certification in (INTERMEDIATE) Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C will be issued in the form of a digital certificate once the following requirements are met:
  • Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps
  • Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation
  • Attend and participate in 100% of the Course

BabySitting Course

Canadian Red cross 

The Babysitting course, refreshed and revised, now has a greater emphasis on First Aid skills. The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.

  • Certification: 7.5 hours (1 day) ($70/ person)

  • 11 to 15 years old

Courses in the City of Winnipeg

  • The minimum class size is 6 participants, and the maximum class size will depend on the training space capacity (I will provide a second trainer if required)

Courses in Rural Manitoba

  • The minimum class size is 12 participants, and the maximum class size will depend on the training space capacity (I will provide a second trainer if required)
  • Travel and accommodation fees will apply and vary by location.

Certificates

  • The training facilitator will require the legal name and email address for each participant.
  • An email will be sent to each participant after the course is completed/ passed. The email will require the participant to sign up for a Canadian Red Cross account to gain access to the printable certificate (Participants must use the same email address they provided)
  • Note: Other arrangements can be made if a participant does not have an email

Class Cancelations

  • A 24-hour course cancellation notice is required.
  • A $80.00 fee will be invoiced if the course is cancelled with less than 24-hour’s notice.
