About the instructor

About me: Ron Ducharme (Owner/Instructor)

I am a certified instructor for the Canadian Red Cross, and I have been instructing first aid & CPR courses in Manitoba since 2010. I have trained many workplaces, communities, and organizations in First Aid & CPR over the years and have a natural rapport with clients. I’ve also been a Paramedic since 2006 within the province of Manitoba, in both rural and urban communities, with 15 yrs employed as a Paramedic for The City of Winnipeg. This has given me a broad knowledge of the existing resources available to communities and how to manage a wide range of medical emergencies in both rural and urban scenarios.

I’m currently studying Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Systems (COHSES) at University of Frederickton and plan to achieve my national accreditation in OH&S with the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) Governing Board. Safety is now recognized as an essential component of an organization’s overall health. It is my goal to provide training programs that empower individuals and communities to save lives and improve health and safety standards. It is important to me to pass on these skills so we can help one another, our families, and communities.

Hope to hear from you soon!
